Swiss-based en­ergy com­pany MET Group de­livered a strong fin­an­cial and com­mer­cial per­form­ance in 2025, sup­por­ted by re­si­li­ent sales and marked by a sharp rise in rev­en­ues to EUR 28.5 bil­lion. The com­pany con­tin­ued its rapid as­cent in the European en­ergy mar­ket, con­tract­ing 242 BCM of nat­ural gas and trip­ling its LNG activ­ity.

Swiss-based MET Group has entered the North Mace­do­nian en­ergy mar­ket through its re­cently launched sub­si­di­ary, MET Skopje. The com­pany aims to provide con­sumers with tailor-made solu­tions to their en­ergy needs.

MET Česká re­pub­lika, a sub­si­di­ary of Swiss-based MET Group, and the Czech en­ergy group Cen­tro­pol have con­cluded a con­tract for nat­ural gas sup­plies with pri­cing linked to the U.S. Henry Hub in­dex. The primary mo­tiv­a­tion stems from the ef­fort to di­ver­sify sources, pro­tect Cen­tro­pol’s cus­tom­ers against high price volat­il­ity on the European mar­ket, and en­sure even higher re­li­ab­il­ity of sup­ply.
